Temporary Staffing

For clients who need candidates on an as-needed basis, our temporary staffing option is ideal. Our highly qualified field employees are available for flexible, short-term needs, seasonal and project-specific work. Temp-To-Hire

Through our Temp-To-Hire plan, you can try the services of our pre-screened, reference-checked employees with absolutely no obligation. Companies can "try before they buy." Use our staffers on a pay-as-you-go basis to determine if they can be considered full time employees.

Payrolling

You find the employee you want to hire and then have us process all the paychecks for that employee. In a payroll situation, we cover unemployment, worker's compensation and payroll taxes.


Placement Guarantee:

We are so confident in our screening, testing, and background checking that we guarantee the quality of each candidate placed. If a candidate's skill level or performance is determined to be unsatisfactory within the first 8 hours, there will be no charge for the hours worked, and we will replace the candidate for the duration of the assignment.

 

Service Level Guarantee:

Staffing Services, Inc. guarantees that a representative will be available to service clients 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Outside of normal business hours, our designated representative is accessible by dialing our after-hours access number: (815) 218-6638. For same-day orders, we guarantee that within 60 minutes or less of a client placing an order, we will respond with a qualified candidate capable of filling the order or a status update on our search for such a candidate.

Direct Hire Plan

When searching for full time employees, Our experienced recruiting professionals will recruit and qualify the candidates by using our proprietary recruitment software and techniques for matching individuals' skills with your company's job requirements. We provide companies with up to three highly qualified candidates for interviewing.

 

Guarantee:

Provided the following conditions are met, Staffing Services, Inc. guarantees Direct Hire Placements for Employees hired by our clients: The placement fee is paid by the client to Staffing Services, Inc. within agreed upon term as stated on invoice. The employee leaves the employment of Client during his first three (3) months of employment, for whatever reason, Staffing Services, Inc. agrees to attempt to replace the employee at no additional fee so long as it is in given the sole opportunity to replace such employee and no other placement sources are utilized by the client. If the proceeding conditions are met, and should a suitable applicant not be found for the client within 30 days of the date Staffing Services, Inc. has been notified of the termination of such an employee, the placement fee will be refunded.

National Criminal Database Search

The National Criminal Database Search is a comprehensive database search that provides same day access to the largest criminal database available with millions of offense records. It is a valuable information resource that may discover convictions in counties not identified in a Social Security Trace or Credit History Report if the subject never lived in the county. Records from states are indexed from state correctional institutions, sexual offender and violent offender lists, the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and some state and county court records.

Education Verification

Education verification is recommended for managerial positions as well as most business office functions. Statistics reveal that education is one of the things that applicants falsify most often on employment applications.

Employment Verification

Past Employment Verification is recommended for all employees. It is approximated that 40% of all resumes and employment applications contain falsified information.

State Sexual Offender Registry

There are currently more than 386,000 registered sex offenders nationwide. Sexual offender registry searches are statewide searches of registered sex offender databases. We recommends this search when companies have on-site childcare or other people at risk, and we recommend having the applicant sign a separate release form.

Workers Compensation History

Worker's compensation searches are highly recommended in manufacturing and production environments or wherever physical activity such as lifting is part of the job requirement. This information enables employers to avoid placing employees in positions that may pose risk of re-injury and identify habitual claim filers. Workers' Compensation History is a statewide search available in most states, but must be conducted post-offer. The search identifies workers compensation claims against an applicant's past employers. The history will report the last five (5) events and include case numbers, locations, case status, dates of injury, body parts injured, type of injury, and all party information including lien claimants. When applicants have filed workers compensation claims against past employers, they often intentionally leave them off their employment applications; you may use falsification of an employment application as grounds for revoking a conditional job offer or terminating a recent hire.

Social Security Trace / Verification

The Social Security Trace checks the validity of an applicant's Social Security Number. If the number is valid, the trace will identify the year and state in which the number was issued. The Social Security Trace will alert you if the number has not been issued, if it was used in a previously filed death claim, or if it was used with any fraudulent activity.
